Ford Matthews joined Santel | Garner in 2024. Ford practices in the areas of insurance defense and general civil litigation. Ford began his legal career at a well-established Nashville insurance defense firm where he gained significant experience throughout Middle and Eastern Tennessee defending insurance carriers and their insureds. 

Ford received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky with special honors. Ford then graduated from Belmont University School of Law in 2022 where he received an award for client management. He is an avid tennis player and hiker, his wife is a nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center pursuing her nurse practitioner license.
